Yay!!! I have just started entering online challenges and have won a voucher from Chook Scraps for my LO in the October 123 Challenge. The challenge was to use tearing and crumpling, 5 pp's and a b&w and colour photograph. I had a lot of fun with this LO and it came together very quickly which is unusual for me as I tend to agonize a bit over my LO's. I happened to have a pair of workshorts my husband ripped, so I took out the metal zip and used it on my LO. I quite liked how it turned out.
I also won a online voucher at Scrap Pile for their October LO Challenge. This was my first win. It was so exciting as it was the first time I had entered an online challenge. The challenge was light and fresh - lots of white, light on the embellishments and add some stitching. I used a photo of a butterfly which I snapped in my garden - it took me forever to get a shot, as every time I tried to focus, it would fly away.
My Odd Title
By the way in case you were wondering about the unusual title on my blog, it comes from something my sister says to me all the time. It relates to my scrapbooking addiction. Everytime she notices a new purchase she calls me Cathy can't help herself.
Woo hoo... welcome to blogdom Cathy! I love your work and I'm really looking forward to getting to know you better on the Scrap Pile team :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the warm welcome Karen - right back at you.
