The Scrapbook Store Guest DT - LO No 3

Hi Girls,

I have my final LO to share for my Guest DT spot at The Scrapbook Store.  I was given the Authentique Lovely papers to play with and have really enjoyed creating with this gorgeous feminine range.

Love Always
I went with layered strips and some fussy cut elements for this page using the Fancy, Dearest and Heart patterned papers and a gorgeous deep cut Martha Stewart embroidery punch.  For the central part of the LO I roughly cut the Dusty Attic Marrakesh chipboard which I altered some Dusty Attic Alabaster paint and some Kaisercraft pearls.  I then splattered some glimmer mist over the top.  For my title and journaling I have used a chipboard word altered with some Dusty Attic Sugar Plum paint, Kaisercraft In Love rubons and the Authentique Lovely Elements and Die Cut sticker sheets.

I find it difficult not to add flowers of some sort to my feminine LO's and have used some beautiful Prima blooms, white cherry blossoms, and Kaisercraft wooden word flags with fussy cut flowers from the Fancy pp to create flower clusters.  To tie in with the lacy elements I layered an antique crochet doily in my flower cluster and some gorgeous Websters lace trim around my photo.

Other materials used:  berry branches, Prima flowers, snow angel glimmer mist, mulberry leaves, pearl brads, Scrapmatts chipboard word, butterfly stickers.

I have created a LO for this month's challenge using some gorgeous flowers, lace, heart ribbon and vintage button from my Zeus and Zoe Kit available from Marivic's Etsy Shop.  I altered the lovely metal heart which was also part of my kit, with some silver Viva Decor paste and backed it with some pp and a rubon.

I am trying to be a bit more adventurous with mixed media techniques and  had a little play with some layers on my background.  The pp's are from Maja Designs.

Feb Guest DT - The Scrapbook Store

Hi Ladies,
I have more creations to share using the Authentique Lovely range of papers for my February Guest DT spot at The Scrapbook Store.

I came across a family photo taken a few years back and decided to use this as inspiration for my LO.  We have so few family pics as I am always behind the camera.  I have been trying to persuade hubby to have some family portraits done.. a girl can always hope!!
I Love You More

I used the Authentique Lovely - Heart pp as my background and softened the paper with some gesso, then splattered some oriental poppy glimmer mist over the gesso.  I also added some dabs of pink poodle glimmer mist... just use the tip of the sprayer to put some mist on your fingertip and dab randomly for a softer look.  Some torn washi tape adhered to the edges of your paper giveS a lovely distressed feel.
As soon as I saw the gorgeous Dusty Attic chipboard heart flourish I had to have it and what a bonus, it goes perfectly with this range of papers.  To alter the chipboard I coated it with some dusty pink Dusty Attic paint first, then while the paint was still wet I sprinkled with Zing pink glitter embossing powder and heat set the glitter.  I repeated this technique on the TSS chipboard flourish and the Prima resin heart.  The chipboard heart was embellished with some TSS roses and semi open rosebuds, a Manor House Creation blossom, some flowers fussy cut from the Authentique Lovely - Fancy pp, rose petal satin seam binding tied in a bow,  a vintage bird charm and Authentique Lovely stickers.
Other TSS materials used:  Authentique Lovely Element stickers, Kaisercraft quote rubons - in love,
Kaisercraft washi tape, Prima chalk inks - ladybud and old rose, Prima Distressing Tool
Materials from my stash:  paper doilies, Spellbinder frame die, Kaisercraft rubons, Viva Inka Gold - silver.

This range is perfect for creating a Valentine's Day card.  I have 2 cards to share which were made with the Authentique Lovely - Dearest and Greetings pp's, 12x12 diecut sticker sheet and element sticker sheet.
Be Mine

Be My Valentine
Other TSS materials used:  Kaisercraft These Days stamp set,  Prima fluid chalk ink, lace
Materials from my stash:  crochet doily,  Craft Queen ribbons and washi tape

Craft Queen - Cashmere Dame Cards

Hi Ladies,
I have had to create a few cards for friends and family's birthdays of late... so I used some of the yummy goodies I have in my stash from Craft Queen.  I felt like using some vibrant colours on my cards and pulled out the Cashmere Dame 6" paper pad from Glitz Design, some ribbons and embellies to inspire me.
Eighteen x 2
Brittany had an 18th birthday for her twin friends, so I created similar cards for the both of them using the Cashmere Dame pad for my background, with a bit of chevron masking tape around the borders and one of my favs... the Kaiser Secret Admirer doily collectables as the background for the chipboard numbers.  I stamped thhe chipboard with the doily stam from the Prima set.  The glitter flowers stickers are from my stash.

Cherry on Top
With Valentine's Day in mind I created this sweet card using some of  the cherry papers from the Cashmere Dame paper pad which went perfectly with the  Collectables Turtle Dove cherry die cut.  A pretty piece of stitched satin ribbon and a cute wooden button for some finishing touches.
Happy Birthday
This card was made for my SIL's birthday, again using the Cashmere Dame paper pad.  The yellow mini rosette ribbon and yellow paper roses were swiped with a touch of gesso.

Other Craft Queen materials used:   Kaiser Secret Admirer Doily Collectables, Tim Holtz Distress Ink - fired brick and black soot, Glimmer mist - red velvet, jute tiny twine red,  wooden button,

Other Materials Used:  Fancy That leaf flourish die, Cuttlebug label die, alpha stamps, October Afternoon alpha stickers, American Crafts chipboard alphas, glitter flower stickers, paper doily, gesso,
