HBS Feb Sketch Challenge

Wired For Sound

This is my 1st time entering a challenge at Handmade by Suzanne. Decided to create a LO for the Feb Sketch and tried to challenge myself by using banners on a teenage grunge boy page. Was stumped at first and was going to use music notes for my banner, but it didn't quite do it for me.

I was looking through my massive amount of stash and came across these old Adornit twill alphas which were just perfect for a banner and went beautifully with my selection of pp's. I used a mix of Pink Paislee, Glitz Design, 7 Gypsies & Crate Paper, some BG embellies, Tim Holtz and Imaginise stamps and a fab Twidleybitz skull chippie.

Came across some old mesh which lends itself well to a grunge LO. The alphas on the banner were attached to some black cream and red twine which I knotted between each alpha. Finished off with some machine stitching and distressing.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving some love :)
