Bird Is The Word now has 330 followers which is out of this world, and we receive so many gorgeous entries every fortnight. We received a massive 68 entries for our "LOVE" challenge and with over 2 weeks to go on our "MEMORY" challenge we already have a whopping 39 entries.. thanks so much to all you girls who enter your amazing creations every fortnight, you have helped to make BITW a massive success, but on the down side OMG you make it so difficult for the DT to choose our winners from so many gorgeous creations... can't wait to see all the fab entries for our latest challenge.
I have chosen to make a card this for this fortnight's challenge using some of the new MME Lost & Found papers which I absolutely adore. I added a little dress to the dress form using some tulle and Prima lace a bit of ribbon mini roses to make a sash for the dress. I used a couple of my fav chippies from Scrapmatts which are the cute little butterfly chippies and some Kaiser pearls for a bit more dimension. My little verse for this fortnight's word reads " The moments we share are the memories we keep."
Scrapmatts Scraplift Challenge
It's Your Time to Shine
Kim Ewins "Always Have Fun"
This month at Scrapmatts is a Scraplift challenge. I had a lot of fun with this and chose to lift one of Kim Ewins' gorgeous creations called "Always Have Fun". I loved all the textures and design of Kim's page. I chose to create a similar texture with some 7 Gypsies Tissue paper and machine stitching and added some randomly placed Scrapmatts gears. LOVE the large clock face chippie which I spritzed with chocolate and suede glimmermist and used this as a frame for my photo of Luke, then added more stitching around the clock face to give it some definition. The pattern papers are from the new Bo Bunny Etc range and the little clockfaces are from Bo Bunny Timepiece.
Click HERE for to check out some of the gorgeous creations from the DT and who they chose to Scraplift. To be eligible, your creation MUST also have Scrapmatts on it. The prize will be a $25.00 Scrapmatts gift voucher.
Members need to upload their entry into the normal gallery and just call it 'September Challenge' and we will move it into an album.
Hope to see some fabulous entries in our gallery!!
Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving some love.. it really makes my day :))
