Meg's Garden - Forget Me Not Collection #2

Hi Girls,

Meg's Garden has added a 2nd Collection to the beautiful Forget Me Not papers designed by Denise.  I love creating with flowers to make beautiful feminine LO's and Meg's papers and embellishments allow me to do just that... I'm in heaven!!

ADORE

On this Spring inspired LO I have used the Forget Me Not #2 Chasing Butterflies pp which I fussy cut  and trimmed with some paper lace border strips and then used the Kiwi German Glitter Glass for my flower centres.

I used some of the remainder of the Chasing Butterflies pp to cut a lace doily with a Cheery Lyn doily die as the background for my flower cluster.  The flower cluster was made using Dusty Attic Cornsilk and Smokey Blue flowers and pink open paper roses.  I also used some Scrolls with Forget Me Nots paper to cut some paper ribbon which I inked in green.  The Forget Me Not Tag Transparencies were perfect for my Tim Holtz Ornate Plate embellishment title.  I coated the ornate plate with gesso and rubbed it back when almost dry to create a distressed look.

To add a lovely fresh Spring feel I used Graphic 45 reverse side of Fashionista Perfumeries to frame my photo then distressed some bandage and added a border of 3cm floral lace to add texture.  Of course I couldn't finish my Spring LO without adding some butterflies which were cut from the Forget Me Not Collection #1 Butterflies and Blue.  I highlighted them with the Kiwi German Glitter Glass for a little sparkle and backed them with a diecut butterfly.
