The Scrapbook Store - Lemoncraft Christmas Greetings Collection

Hi Everyone,

I can't believe it's only 7 weeks until Christmas, and with that in mind, this month for my Design Team proejcts for The Scrapbook Store I get to create with the gorgeous new Lemoncraft "Christmas Greetings" Collection.  This range has a beautiful vintage feel with a traditional colour palette in green, crimson and cream hues.  There is also a basics range set of papers which ties in beautifully with this fabulous Christmas Collection.

"Believe" Layout

To make the crimson tones of the pp's really pop I used American Crafts white cardstock for my background, which I masked with White Croco Crackling and the new Kaisercraft Geo Tiles Template.   Once the crackle medium was totally dried, I spritzed with water then applied the Lindy's Edleweiss Moss Green Mist with a brush, dried this off, then applied the Cest La Vie Cerise from the Lindys Tres Chic Magicals Set by mixing with water on a craft sheet, then applying with a brush to background.  I stamped little snowflakes from the Prima Victorian Christmas Stamp Set with Carnation Red Archival Ink randomly over the masking and topped the snowflakes with Kaisercraft split pea rhinestones to add a little sparkle.

The bauble was fussy cut from the reverse side of the Let Your Dreams Come True pp which has lovely christmas tags, labels and christmas accents.  I sanded the edges of the bauble and added stamped accents with the Prima Victorian Christmas Stamp Set.  I have used one of the Blue Fern Chipboard Flutter Page Dangles to hang my bauble and embellished the dangle with Green Tara flowers, berries and Tim Holtz Festive Brads, then topped with a Snug Hug binding ribbon bow in moss green.
