Hi Everyone,
Sharing my 2nd layout created for The Scrapbook Store using the beautiful Maja Designs 'Summertime' Collection.
"Summer Fun"
I went through some old photos of Luke and Brittany a few months ago and came across this sweet photo of the 2 of them when they were little, splashing around at the Beach in Caloundra and thought the pretty blue tones in this collection would be perfect for this beach themed photo.
Once dry and crackled, I highlighted with Gold Viva Inka Gold medium and applied a bit more misting. I then stamped with Kaisercraft tiny dots texture stamp and Ranger Cobalt archival ink. To add a bit more texture I randomly applied I'm A Maized Prills, then lightly sponged over the background with gesso to create a bit of softness.

To create the darker flicks of colour, I mixed cobalt ink with water on a non-stick craft mat and flicked over by background.
How gorgeous is the Blue Fern Chipboard Seashell Frame!! I altered the frame by applying a coat of Gold Viva Inka Gold, randomly applying Stampendous Aqua Aged Embossing Powder, and then highlighting with Aquamarine Viva Inka gold.

The clusters were created by cutting up the Prima French Riviera Flower Vine and tucking distressed pieces of Green Tara Jute Twine underneath to look like fishing net.
To make my glass pebbles pop, I coated the back of them with Aquamarine Inka Gold.
For a bit of shimmer the Summer Words Decorative Die was diecut from Kaisercraft gold glitter cardstock.
