February CT LO's

This is post is a bit long-winded as I have a few CT LO's to show... so bear with me!!

White With 1 - Count Your Blessings

This month at WW1 the colours are White + Brown and vintage items - vintage could mean anything from bookpaper, crocheted doiles, vintage photos, buttons, lace/ribbon, vintage brooches and any other ephemera.

This is what I came up with... used some Glitz Design, Websters & Shabby Green Door pp's. The circular cut out was made on my Cricut with the Paper Lace cartridge and then misted. The lamp chippie is Dusty Attic... this was misted also and I added some pearls & a brad for a bit of dimension. Other embellies are Graphic 45 b'flies, Prima flower & pearl centre, Bo Bunny rubons & K&Co dimensional word stickers.

Pop on over to WW1 and check out all the gorgeous creations from the CT for inspiration. As usual there are some fab prizes up for grabs. You have until 11.59pm February 28th.

Challenge Heaven

Challenge Heaven has a new lot of fabulous challenges to inspire some wonderful creations this month, so go and check it out and while you're there you can see the gorgeous LO's created by Jess, Kylene and guest DT Karen Grose. There are some great prizes to win for each challenge.

Here are my DT LO's for this month.

Colour Challenge: Summer colours - fresh and bright Criteria: Paint

Loved using yellow and blue for my bright Summery colours on this LO. I love this old photo of Luke at the beach... typifies Summer to a T. Used some Cosmo Cricket for the background and painted over with blue then used bubble wrap with a metallic navy paint... the metallic paint doesn't show very well in pics but looks fab. Added a various strips of pp's and embossed & punched the yellow c/s for a bit more texture.

Number Challenge – 3 pics, 2 leaves, 1 button Criteria: Use an arrow on your layout

Went way out of my comfort zone for this LO and chose neutrals. Pics are of Luke looking handsome for his semi formal last year. Cut the Crate Paper Die Cut paper used some Kaisercraft for the background. Tucked some hand cut Crate Paper cards underneath and inked them for a bit of dimension. To tie in with the distressed vintage look I added some Mamma Razzi Bo Bunny rubons. The arrow, 2, leaves and button are all on the cluster. Of course I couldn't help myself and had to add some yummy chocolate glimmer mist splotches to finish it off. I know you must all be sick of seeing my splotches, but I love the effect.. lol!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving some love :)
