A Few More CT LO's To Share

As it's the start of the month and all the new challenges are out, it means a few CT LO's to share. Here are my creations for White With One and Kraft It Up for this month.

Kraft It Up - You Rock My World

The challenge at KIU this month is a 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 challenge. You must create a layout based on the following:
1 piece of Kraft cardstock
2 photos smaller than 6x4
3 different Alphas
4 different patterned papers (yes you can use the reverse side of one sheet as long as the pattern is different)
5 different embellishments

** Paint, Mists, Distressing and any other technique based creating are not classed as embellishments, you can still use these of course but they do not count as your 5 embellishments, you need to think chipboard, ribbon, twine, journal blocks, flowers, buttons, jewels/bling, pins, tapes, stickers, handmade embellishments, paper clips, lace, tabs, diecuts etc...

Had a lot of fun with this challenge. I have my 1 kraft cs and my 2 pics . I used 2 alpha stickers and the word rock was cut from an old t-shirt of Brittany's and went perfectly with the pics of Luke for my 3 alphas. The 4 pp's are from Glitz Design, BG, & Cherry Arte and my 5 embellies are rubons, buttons, twine, acetate wings, and journal spot. I also added some gesso on the background for a grungier look.

White With One - Let's Play

This month's challenge at WW1 is: Olive Green and White and you must use twine somewhere on your LO. I have to say olive green is not my fav colour, but I really liked how this page came out.. just goes to show it pays off to try something different!! You probably have realised I just love mixing pp's, so I went through my stash and found just a few!! for this challenge (MM, BG, Scenic Route, MME and Crate). Just recently purchased these gorgeous glittered flower embellies from K&Co and had to use them, and of course finished off with some knotted white cotton twine and a little twine frame on my title.

I am so sad to say that this will be my last LO for WW1. I would dearly love to stay on, but have decided not to reapply, so that some other gorgeous talent out there will have a chance to apply and have the fabulous experience of being part of the amazing team at WW1. I want to give a big thank you to the gorgeous Mel for making it such a fantastic experience and all the girls on the CT Team... your creations are mind blowingly gorgeous and I'm glad I was able to be part of the CT with all of you.

So if your were thinking about applying, check out the blog for details and give it a go!!! Entries close 20th April. If you have any questions at all please email Mel at: white.with.1@hotmail.com.

Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving some love :)
