Hi Everyone,
Today I am sharing a LO inspired by this month's sketch challenge at Dusty Attic. I decided to interpret the sketch with a vintage masculine theme and used various mediums to alter the chipboard to create an aged and distressed look.
For the main circle embellishment in the sketch I cut the Dusty Attic chicken wire 12x12 chipboard into a large circle, using a plate as my template. To give the chicken wire a vintage feel I embossed it with antique gold embossing powder, then randomly applied dabs of copper Viva Ferro paste which has a lovely rough sandy texture and is fabulous for vintage/rustic projects.. To make the circle stand out I added a border with the Dusty Attic barb wire. Before adhering to the chicken wire, I embossed the barb wire with Stampendous aged embossing enamel in black, then randomly applied some of the copper Ferro paste over the top.
To alter the chipboard title and cogs I used a mixture of Viva Ferro in copper, amber gold and iron.
