Get Picky - True Beauty
This month's Get Picky Inspiration challenge is a gorgeous feminine/romantic theme. I don't normally go for pastels, but I just purchased some of the new Prima Sparkling Spring and Madeline pp's which go perfectly with this challenge... so pretty and feminine!! Of course I had to add some gorgeous flowers to this LO and Prima papers are perfect for hand cutting. Some doilies & lace with punched borders and masking to tie it all together. Finally managed to purchase the gorgeous blossom and birdie stencils from Crafter's Workshop. I couldn't help myself and had to have the small and the large, so I'm sure you'll be seeing these pop up on my future lo's!!
Pop on over and check out the Get Picky site. Plenty to inspire you with the gorgeous creations by the DT team!!
TCR #47 - Sunny Days
Really enjoyed using this weeks palette for The Colour Room as I new straight away I would use the Websters Wonderfall pp's which I adore. I teamed them with some Crate Paper & Collections 6x6 papers. The green doily embellishments were hand cut from the Crate Paper and layered some b&w check fabric and doily centre for a bit of texture. The felt frame from Bella was white, so I misted it with black to make it pop. Had to add some inking and distressing and of course a smattering of Prima flowers. I recently found these gorgeous pearl lengths from Maria George and can't resist adding them to my LO's as they add some lovely texture.
Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving some love :)
