Hi Girls,
In my goodie pack from Tracy at my2angels I received some gorgeous Graphic 45 An ABC Primer papers which I just love and had a lot of fun creating a LO and 2 cards to share with you.
Kindy LO
As soon as I saw this range of pp's I knew I would scrap this old photo of Luke taken when he was 4 years old at Kindy.. it went perfectly with the papers. I used an old Basic Grey Jovial Coal for the background with the alpha border cut from the Building Blocks paper to frame my LO. The background was cut from the Grammar School paper and stepped to look like building blocks. I also used the School Days paper to cut out the ruler and layered it with some velvet ribbon and the Tim Holtz negative strip.
The handmade flower was made by layering a recycled doily, tissue from a paper pattern which I crumpled, some black lace and a plaid brad which was aged by watering down some Tim Holtz Tea Dye stain and painting it on, then I just added some jute twine to make my flower look a little more boyish. The cluster was made with a bottle cap, a pebble, an antique bronze timepiece charm and a Tim Holtz trinket pin. Graphic 45 papers are always fabulous for fussy cutting, so I cut out the little boy from the Games and Playtime paper and added one of Tracey's cute ABC book charms.
My Present For You - Card
Graphic 45 papers are so versatile and to show you that this range isn't just for school based LO's I made 2 cards. For this card I used the Bedtime Stories paper by fussy cutting the sweet image for the main focus on my card and added a mini rose to her hat to add a bit of dimension, then layered it with some Bo Bunny etc which I punched and added some red rhinestone chain for a little bling. This range of paper blends beautifully with Graphic 45 as it has a great vintage feel. The background is Calico Kids. The flower was made by layering some tissue pattern paper, topping it with one of Tracey's gardenias and a plaid brad. I also added some mulberry leaves and a bronze locket charm attached with some baker's twine. Again I used the Tim Holtz tea dye distress stain to age the brad and the baker's twine.
A Little Help From My Friends - Card
Here is the 2nd card I made using Graphic 45 An ABC Primer papers. I used black cardstock for my base and layered it with the reverse side of ABC Primer which I embossed with the Cuttlebug Script Folder and inked in black. On top I layered a tag with some mini roses, some Basic Grey Jovial Flannel Pyjamas, G45 Calico Kids and cut out the pic from G45 - Happy Go Lucky. I also cut the verse separately from the pic and added a little sun charm.
