Happy Valentine's Day girls :))
Well this fortnight's new word at Bird is the Word is just perfect for Valentine's Day as it is "HEART". All you have to do is use the word on your LO or in your journalling. Check out the blog HERE for the gorgeous creations from the DT for some inspiration and there is also a fantastic sketch designed by Mary Thomas, which is optional.
Be Strong, Go With Your Heart
I loved this forntnight's word, and decided and layered up lots of Prima Scraps and of course added some fussy cut elements. My quote reads "There are many things in life that will catch your eye, but only a few will catch your heart... pursue those."
Once Upon a Sketch - Feb 1 Challenge
I Love You
Really enjoyed this fortnight's challenge from Once Upon a Sketch, as it dragged me away from all my girly pages and back into some boy grunge which I also love. Created a page of my DS Luke and went for some texture and grungy layering with a bit of paint work for my background. The journaling is hidden on a pull out tag on the right hand side of the photo.

ReplyDeleteYour mix of red and black is just perfect on both pages. I love your contrast of feminine to masculine. And when I looked at the finer details and saw how you cut out the lace on the BG paper, I had to pull my piece out to see what you had done......love it but you have so much more patience than I. Can you please cut my piece....lol.
