Color Stories Inspiration #130

Hi Everyone,

I have been down with a nasty virus for the last 2 weeks and am only just feeling like I am getting on top of it, so my mojo is seriously low at the moment.  Luckily for me this week's case file #130 for Color Stories Inspiration came with a gorgeously vibrant colour palette, so I managed to scrape this one in.
I decided to go with the obvious and created an Australia Day LO using some beautiful flowers and embellishments from Manor House Creations.  Every year my husband's Aunty Dee would invite all the family down to Palm Beach for an Australia Day BBQ.  It was always a lovely day of catching up with friends and family.  Sadly Aunty Dee passed away last year, so for our family Australia Day will always be a way to remember her fondly.
The bright red Country Estate flowers from the new collection were the perfect fit for my Australia Day LO.  I teamed them with a white camelia to make the flowers pop.

Loving the new wooden embellishment frames.  I altered the Shine frame by painting it white and highlighted the stars in red white and blue.

Evidence:
stars - pp and punched elements and little star on wooden frame
stripes - pp
metal - camera and starburst bling embellishments
circles - masking, stamping, buttons and bling
flags - in photo

Testimony:   journal about a patriotic holiday - "Australia Day"  (I have some hidden journaling on the tag on right hand side of the photo, and some written journaling on photo.

Manor House Creations Product:
Flowers - Country Estate mix, Camelia-teal red and white, Minuettes-denim, Leaves- light green lge, Leaves- light green med, teeny weenies
