Manor House Creations - Thoughts Wanding Collection - Masculine LO

Hi Everyone,

Sharing a LO created with the beautiful new collection by Manor House Creations called "Thoughts Wandering".  As these papers lend themselves to either masculine or feminine projects, I decided to create a masculine LO, instead of my usual girly pages.

Take Me Away
I love this photo of my husband enjoying a day at the beach fishing, and thought it would be perfect for the beautiful seaside inspired papers from this collection.
The background was created using the beige side of the Postcards pp and framed with the blue side of the Beautiful pp.  I used various mixed media techniques to alter the background in blue and brown tones to tie in with the colours from the papers.

With various sized circular punches I punched out circles from a few of the other papers from the collection to frame my photo and also used a couple of the diecuts from the elements sheet.
The words on the Take Me Away pp were perfect for my title.  I just fussy cut around them and attached them with foam tape.  I even managed to tuck in an imagine flower in blueberry in amongst my layers.  The oatmeal and brown imagine flowers are also a perfect match for this collection.

MHC product used:  Thoughts Wandering Collection, Imagine blueberry flowers

Other product used:  Memory Box stencil- rings and puddles, Viva inka gold- aquamarine, gesso, Tim Holtz distress stains- broken china, faded jeans, Tim Holtz distress ink- tumbled glass,  Tim Holtz ideology metal embellishments, Archival ink - black, sepia, Prima stitched circles stamps, Bo Bunny mesh stamp, Kaisercraft edges stamp, metal charms, seaside stickers, jute twine, binder punch, mesh, sequins, machine stitching

Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving some love.
