Kaisercraft DT - Holy Night Collection

Hi All,

Today I am sharing the last of this month's new Collections from Kaisercraft called "Holy Night".  This beautiful range has a more traditional theme in subdued Christmas colours with hints of gold foil.

“Christmas Memories” LO

For this Christmas LO I went searching through old photos of the kids when they were much younger and came across this pic of the them just as they had woken up on Christmas morning. The first thing they would always go for is their big bag of Christmas lollies... YUM!! 

  I layered and roughly teared various pp’s to create my background and masked with the Stars Template using gold metallic paste, then highlighted the stars with Kindyglitz to make them sparkle.  To create the Christmas tree branches I used the Branch Decorative Die and green side of the “Frankincense” pp which I misted with Turquoise Kaisermist to recreate the pine green colour of the tree, then decorated the branches with a few altered Christmas ornament wooden flourishes.

I was drawn to the gold and white pp’s in the paper pad and they were the inspiration for the 2 cards and altered tag.  The Nesting Frames Decorative Die was used on both cards, utilising the negative space from the diecut on one of the cards.

I went for the more traditional colours for this card and altered tag, using the paper pad and collectables and one of the labels from the “Faith” pp.

Kaisercraft - North Pole Collection

Hi Everyone, 

Today I am sharing my creations using the bright and beautiful "North Pole" Collection by Kaisercraft.  This collection, as its name suggests. is a Christmas collection, but I love that this range has pp's which lend themselves to feminine and masculine projects as well.  

Here I have created a feminine non-Christmas LO with the papers and Captured Moments 4x6" cards, but there are also other papers from this range like the diamond, grid, diagonal stripe, zig zag, check and spot patterns which would be perfect on a masculine LO.

With Christmas just around the corner, it's time to get started on creating cards for friends and family.  I was quite taken with the reindeers from this lovely range and was inspired to create 2 cards using the cute diecuts on the cards and reindeer pp on the matching envleopes.

There is always a need for a sweet little box to hold a special gift at Christmas time.  Here I altered a recycled box withe the pp's and matching diecuts.  For a little sparkle and bling I accented the snowflake flourish with a few Kaisercraft rhinestones and altered the paper bloom with a bling brad, then coated the top of the stamped pp with some Kindyglitz for a pretty glitter effect.

Manor House Creations - It's Beginning to Look at Lot Like Christmas
