Kaisercaft Design Team - 2014-2015 Year in Review

Hi Everyone,

Well my term for this year at Kaisercraft is at an end, but I am thrilled to have been invited back for another year on this incredible Design Team!!  To finish off my term I am sharing projects created with some of  my favourite collections.  There were so many to choose from and it was very difficult to narrow it down, but here it goes.

“Everything Beautiful Has Its Moment” - Blue Bay Collection

The “Blue Bay” Collection has to be one of my all time favourite ranges… I can’t go past beautiful teals colours and when you mix it with creamy white, it’s a winner in my eyes!!  This canvas was created for my 2015-2016 DT application.

“Smiles” - Blue Bay Collection


“Timeless Moments” - Betsy's Couture Collection


Loved the mix of beautiful blues and greens teamed with the traditional cream and brown colour palette of vintage inspired “Betsy’s Couture”.

“This Life is Pretty Amazing” Shine Bright Collection

Geometric patterns and the bold colour palette of yellow black and white from the “Shine Bright” Collection really give your creations that WOW factor. Had a lot of fun creating this masculine LO.

“Life is Beautiful" Oh So Lovely Collection 

The title of this collection says it all “Oh So Lovely”. Adored creating with this gorgeous floral-themed range… another firm favourite!!

Shabby Chic Card - Oh So Lovely Collection 

“Smile” - Chase Rainbows Collection

So many vibrant colours and bold patterns in the fun and funky “Chase Rainbows” Collection, but of course I couldn’t resist the teals and blues!!

Extreme Gamer - Off The Wall Collection

Having a teenage son, I am always on the lookout for masculine ranges and was thrilled when Kaisercraft designed this cool collection.  I am in my element when I create beautiful feminine LO's , but love it when I get a chance to go grunge with a masculine LO.

I Am Who I Am - Close Up Collection

Another masculine LO created with the fabulous and versatile "Close Up" Collection which has a beautiful range of masculine and feminine pp's to choose from.

“Adore” - Rustic Harmony Collection

“Rustic Harmony” another gorgeous collection in pretty peach and greens and a lovely old world feel, just the thing if you love creating in a shabby chic style!!

“Hello Beautiful” - Tropical Punch Collection

“Tropical Punch” was right up my alley, so many gorgeous florals to fussy cut and those doilies… absolute heaven!!

BTP Altered Lantern - All That Glitters Collection

This pretty altered lantern was created using one of the many fabulous BTP wooden pieces from Kaisercraft using the delicious "All That Glitters" Collection!

“Christmas Tags” - North Pole Collection

Last on my list of favs, I had to add a Christmas range and I have picked “North Pole” for its non-traditional  colour palette and oh so cute designs!

Christmas Time - Yuletide Collection

"Yuletide - a more traditional Christmas range with gorgeous greenery and hints of old gold.

I hope you enjoyed looking back at some of the gorgeous collections released by Kaisercraft in the past year.  I know I had a fabulous time creating with them and can't wait to be able to inspire you with all the beautiful collections Kaisercraft have in store for you for the coming year.!!

Kaisercraft DT - XO Collection

Hi Everyone,

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, Kaisercraft has released the new XO Collection which is perfect for those LOVE inspired layouts or why not make a handmade card or giftbox for your Valentine!  Today I am sharing a few projects I created with this adorable collection.

“My One and Only Love” Layout

I was inspired to create this LO whilst going through some old!! pics of hubby and me...  omg we look so young and fresh-faced, which I thought would go beautifully with these sweet pp's.  It's weird to think my Brittany is the same age as me in this photo... time does fly by so fast.

“Notes and Messages” Altered Chalkboard

Lastly, I altered this cute chalkboard using a little pp, a few collectables and stickers from the 12x12 sticker sheet and ebony alpha stickers.  To tone in with the wood I framed the chalkboard section with fancy wooden corner flourishes and left them raw.

Kaisercraft Design Team - Mix and Match Collection

Hi Everyone,

A little more fussy cutting here, this time the Damask pp.  I softened the background with some croco crackling, then stamped over the top with the Lace and Cherish texture stamps.

"Happy Birthday" Recycled Paper Bag

The birthday bag was made by recycling one of the Kaisercraft paper bags from my last shopping trip at the Browns Plains store.  I just covered the logo with pp and embellished one of the new tags to suit the birthday theme.

Lastly a birthday card.  You can tell from my projects that I loved the doily accents.  Here I have used one of the doily stickers from the sticker sheet as a background from my greeting, then fussy cut one of the papers to make a border.

Kaisercraft July DT Reveal - Pitter Patter Collection

So excited to share my first Kaisercraft Design Team post for the week using the beautiful new "Pitter Patter" range.  I have created 5 projects with this adorable range so it's going to be a bit of a lengthy post, so bear with me!!  Make sure you pop in to the Kaisercraft Blog and Kaiercraft FB site   to see all the gorgeous creations from our super talented Design Team.

"Baby Girl" - Layout
Found this old baby pic of Brittany which I managed to crop and tweak until I was reasonably happy.  She does look so cute here and her little romper matches perfectly with the papers.

Had a play with the background on this LO. I started  by fussy cutting the hexagons and applied them diagonally across my page.  I  randomly stamped over the hexagons using a Kaisercraft texture stamp, then masked the doily template using gesso and finished off with mist splats.

To create the embellishments I have used some of the collectables with the the diecuts from the matching paper pad, then used pearls to accent the embellishments.

"2 Months" - Layout
Luke is almost 21 now and trying to find nice pics of him as a baby isn't easy, but I did come across this photo of Luke at 2 months which was taken by my BIL who isn't too bad with a camera.

I layered serveral of the pp's here which I tore, fussy cut and punched to add a bit of dimension.  To frame the photo I layered some of the collectables and one of the labels from the pp's, and highlighted with a bit of bling and one of the paper blooms, which I altered by removing the centre and flattening out, then adding a fabric brad.

Couldn't go past using one of the Kaisercraft templates (diamonds) on my background, which I spritzed with mist and then stamped over the top with the Kaisercraft script stamp.

"Shh.. Baby Sleeping" - Beyond the Page
I remember receiving one of these door hangers when Luke was a baby and thought I would recreate my own version.  I used a template cut with my Sillhouette Cameo to create my hanger, but Kaisercraft have quite a few different styles available to purchase.
