This month's challenge was:
One Word: Passion
One Dominant Colour: Red
One Mystery Technique: Grunge
Here is my LO for this challenge. I started off well on this one but got blocked and had to leave it for a day before finishing it off. I used Prima, Jillibean & Bo Bunny pp's. Masked some butterflies with scarlet glimmermist and crackled over it, but you can't really see the crackling, then spattered some black paint. I made circular tear in the Prima pp and backed it with the red Bo Bonny paper then silhouetted the pic of me & my DH. Did a fair bit of distressing & inking for a grungy look. Stamped the background paper randomly with Prima music stamp. I also stamped the chandelier and the wings on the title. The red flowers are Prima... I added some diamond dust to the edges and the background flowers are hand cut, crumpled and inked. Finished off with some machine and hand stitching. This LO looks so much nicer IRL.
Present for my Sister
Thought I would share these LO's which I put in frames for my sister. These were some old photos of my sister and my mum when she was little and also a pic of my BIL as a baby. She wanted something to put on her wall so I decided to make these for her in a vintage style as they were older pics. Couldn't get the colours to show as nice as they do IRL.
Cheers, talk soon:)
