From Screen 2 Scrap
July Challenge
This month's FS2S challenge inspiration is the Sherlock Holmes movie poster. The criteria was to use teal, metal somewhere on your LO and your title in a rectangle. This was my take on the challenge. Starting to get more comfortable using paint on my LO's... always worried I will muck it up. Painted the background in teal then splotched some black paint. The metal is a soft drink can which I embossed with the new Tim Holtz folder and inked over with Stazon. Also embossed some black cardstock for a bit of texture. Used Basic Grey basics for the background with WRMK and Glitz Design pp's. Finished off with stamping in the corners and machine stitching.
The Colour Room #13
Very girly palette this week. I only just snapped this pic of Brittany last week. Used LYB and Pink Paislee pp's for this LO. Of course I had to add some hand cut elements. The flowers are from a necklace, believe it or not!! Decided to use a bit of misting, but had to combine the colours as it was a bit too pale. TFL
Talk soon :)
