My 1st Bons Scrap Challenge


Jan Paper of the Month - Pretty as a Picture

Decided to have a go at my 1st challenge over at Bon's Scraps and chose The Paper of the Month Challenge as I had this Sassafras Lass paper in my stash.

Used the SL pp with some Pink Paislee Sweetness as I thought they went really well together. Had to add some Prima flowers of course and some hand dyed lace & twine. The gorgeous yellow butterflies were purchased from a discount store for $2!! I decided to add some hand written journaling which is something I don't do very often as I hate my hand writing.. it reads "Brittany, you are my beautiful muse".

    Love how you have combined these ranges together, love all the yellow tones, it is fast becoming on of my fav colours at the moment :D I never use it myself but love when others use it. Love your work xx

    OMG, Cathy this is just stunning, can I borrow your muse, she is just a gorgeous girl. The Sass Lass behind just makes the perfect base for this amazing layout, you are an amazing scrapper. By the way, Nate would love a hug from Lukey. Your kids are just so well adjusted I only hope I can do a great job like you with Nate. Love Melxx

    Lovin the little looksee at those sneaks.
    This is just beautiful. I love the colours and the touch of yellow is perfect. That circle looks awesome. Your pictures are always stunning too. And yep, if we head north this year, I would love to catch up...for sure.
