"FRIED GREEN TOMATOES" - FS2S

I just finished this month's FS2S may movie poster challenge.  This month's poster was "Fried Green Tomatoes".  It had to be on an important woman in your life, predominantly red and green, green title and a tomato somewhere on the layout.

The important woman in my life is my older sister.  We have totally different personalities and sometimes she drives me insane.  You know how it is with older sisters, but I couldn't live without her.  She is my rock, someone I can talk to about anything and she's always there when I need her.

I used this very rare photo of us together.  It's rare because we both hate having our photo taken, as they usually look woeful... we're not very photogenic.  I have to say I had to eat my words with this pic, as it's really lovely.  We are both happy and smiling and look pretty good if I must say so myself.

I used gorgeous Prima & Bella pp's and Prima flowers.  The little white embroidered flowers I purchased overseas.  Had to use Martha Stewart punches... I just love them!!  My title was cut in teal paper on my Cricut and I used a lovely American Crafts chandelier sticker.  The little quote says "sisters are different flowers from the same garden", which I thought was really sweet.  There is a tomato poking out right at the top in amongst the flowers.

CHALLENGE HEAVEN - MAY CHALLENGES

Card Sketch Challenge

This is my take on card sketch for this month at Challenge Heaven.  I mad this card for my little niece, so I made it bright and girly.  Used WRMK heart attack pp's, prima flower, Martha Stewart doily punch, button, Hampton Art stamp & highlighted with Kindyglitz.

Quote Challenge

This month the quote was "Gotta Love... and no flowers.  I used the title "Gotta Love that Fro" as Luke has the most incredible fro going on.  He gets his hair from his dad, only his hair is a light brown while dad's is dark brown.  Used WRMK and Glitz design pp's to give it a retro feel and added a cluster of embellies.  It came together pretty quickly which is unusual for me as I'm a slow scrapper, but I really liked the way this came out.
