Life is Sweet

Get Picky Sketch

Here is my last minute entry for the Get Picky sketch challenge. This is a fabulous new challenge site where you need to use multiple photos... go check it out, the creations on this site are absolutely fabulous!!

Decided to use a technique that I have noticed in various galleries where you use left over alphas.  Chantal at Bon's Scraps has a wonderful tutorial for this technique.  I used some pink foam alphas so I really had to slap on the paint to cover them.  Wasn't too sure whether they would show up very well so I splattered on some red paint over the top to make them stand out a little more.  Used some BG Wander... LOVE!! that range... & Bella Blvd Midterm pp's with some red cs which I embossed for a bit more texture.  A few rubons to take the place of the butterflies in the sketch and some bright Glitz Design & LYB stickers for the title.

DON'T FORGET

There are only a few days left to get your entries in to WW1 and Challenge Heaven!!!  Go check out their sites as there are some absolutely fabulous creations to inspire you!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving some love :)

  4. Wow, I just love love this Cathy, I love those photos of Luke, and yes a definate case of "great minds think alike" which in itself is scary for you that your mind in some way resembles mine. Have to go to my sister's to view her wedding photos I want to order, Nate was the page boy so guessing their will be heaps of photos to scrap. Cannot stop thinking about that Louie and climbing that tree, it must be a boy thing for sure. Love the colours in this layout and am going to join Bon's Scraps later today so we can catch up there. Love to you, Melxx

  6. Love it!...the texture, the colours, the paint splatters, everything! The embossed paper looks brilliant. I've got this pattern myself...sadly it's ended up under my desk, neglected 'cause I've got nowhere to store it.
