We have a fresh new look at Bird Is the Word designed by our talented Emma Stafrace and are in the process of making some fab changes. Be sure to grab the new badge for your blog. Next week at the winners announcement we will be giving away a new featured winners badge as well!
The new word is up this fortnight at BITW and it is - SMILE. Use this word or a derivative on the word on your LO, card or OTP project. There is also an optional sketch designed by the Mary Thomas for you to use and maybe get those creative juices flowing. Pop on over and check out the new site and while you're there I'm sure you'll be inspired by all the gorgeous DT creations. I am so looking forward to seeing what see what you all come up with for this fortnight's word!!
Start Every Day With A Smile
Decided to use some bright and happy colours for this fortnight's word and managed to find a pic of Brittany smiling which is not an easy task. Added heaps of layering and fussy cutting using some yummy paper from the This and That paper range from Crate Paper.. loving those flowers, and mixed in some pretty doily, lace and butterfly accents for a full-on girly page.
I have just found the Scrap Fit challenge site and thought I would enter my LO in Weekend Warmup #27 - the theme is Fussy Cutting... right up my alley!! Pop on over and check out this fabulous site.
List of Materials: Crate Paper Paper Heart, Crate Paper Restoration, MME Miss Caroline, Echo Park This and That pp's, Kaisercraft wooden flourishes and buttons, Martha Stewart butterfly punches, Martha Stewart doily dies, Paper doily, Websters lace, Craft Queen pearl flower trim, Basic Grey alpha stickers and die cut border sticker.
Thanks so much for stopping by :))
