Kaisercraft DT - All That Glitters

Hi everyone,

Today I am sharing Kaisecraft's new "All That Glitters" range which is in pretty pink and green tones.  This collection comes with some gorgeous "Glitter" and "Foil" Specialty Papers which will add some sparkle and shine to your creations.

Be warned!! this post is a bit lengthy as I am also sharing projects which were created for CHA.

How gorgeous is the newly released "Berry Vine" Decorative Die!!!  I think you are going to be seeing quite a bit of this one on my creations.

I have used my Tuesday Tip technique with the embossing folders on my background.  Doesn't it look so soft and  pretty!!

Kasiercraft Tuesday Tip - Embossing Folder Techniques

Hi Everyone,

Kaisercraft have just released a fab range of  Embossing Folders, so I thought I would share a couple of effective techniques that I love to use, created with an embossing folder and a couple of mediums.

Alison Bevis recently shared quite a few embossing folder techniques using your cuttlebug, but with these 2 techniques all you need is an embossing folder, cardstock and mist or texture paste.

Misting Technique

For this first technique, you will need – embossing folder, mist, and cardstock.

1  Spray one side of your embossing folder with mist
2.  Use it like a stamp and press the folder onto your cardstock. Make sure you press all over the folder and hold it down for 10-20 seconds to allow the mist to absorb into your cardstock.
3.  Lift off and you have a gorgeous watercolour image.

Texture Paste Technique

On the second technique you will need an embossing folder, water mister, texture paste, cardstock and mist. I was shown this fab technique by the lovely and talented Kim Ewins.

1.  Apply a coat of texture paste to your cardstock, then allow to sit for 5-10 mins, as you don’t want it too wet.
2.  Lightly spray one side of your embossing folder with water mister, then press down firmly, all over your embossing folder.
3.  Lift off gently. Make sure you wash your embossing folder straight away, as if the texture paste dries, your embossing folder will be ruined.
4.  Allow to dry, then mist over the top, to show off your embossed image.

You can play around with both sides of the embossing folder with these techniques, for a positive and negative image.

Kaisercraft - Shine Bright Collection

“Hi all,

Today I have projects to share created with the fabulous "Shine Bright" Collection from Kaisercraft.  Love the Sunshine Yellow with contrasting Black and White to make the colour pop!! This range makes you feel happy just looking at it :)

 Amazing

I decided on a masculine grunge for this layout.  Sections of the brickwork from the Bumblebee pp were fussy cut and then underlayed with the chevron side of the Sunflower pp.   To add a bit of contrast to all the yellow, I stamped around the fussy-cut egdes with various Texture Stamps in the colours from Luke's T-shirt.

Hello Sunshine

As soon as I came across this adorable photo of my niece Hannah, I knew it would be the perfect fit for this super cute collection.  

On this layout I decided to contrast the sunshine yellow of this range with electric blue. For my background, I gessoed the check side of the Daisy pp to make soften the yellow and make the blue pop.  I used the Lattice Template and texture paste to create a little more dimension, then randomly added blue mist to

make the lattice masking stand out.  Couldn't resist adding some stamping to my background, using one of the word stamps from the matching Stamp Set.

Kaisercraft have released 8 new embossing folders this month!! I have embossed a section of Ocean cardstock with the gorgeous Lattice embossing folder.  Love how crisp and clean the embossing came out!
