Dusty Attic June Release - Amazing Moments DT Layout

Hi everyone,
Today I am sharing a travel themed layout with a holiday pic from a recent cruise this year for my husbands's 60th birthday, created with June release Dusty Attic chipboard and stencil designs.

"Amazing Moments"

With so many gorgeous new designs, it's difficult to choose which ones to create with!! but I was drawn to the fabulous new travel border and corner chippies as they are the perfect match for the recently released Mintay Papers - Wanderlust Collection.

To create my background I used the new Burlap Stencil design, with modelling paste which I coloured by mixing with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide reinkers in pistachio mixed with a touch of tumbled glass.

Textured embossing powders are a great way to alter your chipboard.  I used Stampendous shabby pink embossing enamel on the Sand Dollars and Starfish to create texture and Emerald Creek Baked Texture embossing powders on the Travel Borders and Corners.

The Chain Rectangles chipboard frame was altered with Ranger Ancient Gold embossing powder, which looks more like a copper brown and a mixture of WOW verdigris and Stampendous White embossing powders for the Amazing Moments mini caption.

Craft Queen - Lulu and Roy

Hi ladies,

Have been very busy going through my massive amount of scrapbooking stash which I have accumulated over the past 8 years and having a cleanout.   OMG I always knew I had a bit of a shopping problem when it comes to scrapbooking, but seeing all the paper and embellishments I have culled has made me realise I have to curb my addiction.  I have some of my scrappy friends coming around on Sunday to pick up some fabulous bargains and then I will be off to the markets to sell the rest.  If any of you live in Brisbane and want to pop by on Sunday, leave me a message and I will send you the address details.

I have a LO to share using some pretty papers from the Kaisercraft Lulu and Roy paper pad. which is available from Craft Queen.  I used the Crafter's Workshop Mini Honeycomb mask on my background paper and stamped over the masking with the Kaisercraft Cherish stamp then embellished with some gorgeous ribbon, flowers leaves, and embellishments... list of items available from Craft Queen below.

Zeus and Zoe - All About Love Challenge

Hi Ladies,

This month's Challenge at Zeus and Zoe was set by the lovely Gayle Price.  The theme is all about LOVE.   All you need to do is create a project based on something or someone you love, and make sure the "word" LOVE is obvious on your page. Click HERE for challenge details.  The rules on how to play are included at the end of this post.

Live Laugh Love

I have created a LO for this month's challenge using some gorgeous flowers, lace, heart ribbon and vintage button from my Zeus and Zoe Kit available from Marivic's Etsy Shop.  I altered the lovely metal heart which was also part of my kit, with some silver Viva Decor paste and backed it with some pp and a rubon.

I am trying to be a bit more adventurous with mixed media techniques and  had a little play with some layers on my background.  The pp's are from Maja Designs.
