Kaisercraft Design Team 2014 Entry

Hi Everyone,

As my title suggests, I decided to try out for the Kaisercraft 2014/2015 Design Team.  I have always been a big fan of all their gorgeous products.  Every month I ooh and ahh over the new ranges and I am totally addicted to their fabulous stamps, so I thought, why not give it a go.

To apply, we had to create 3 recent projects - Layout, Beyond the Page/Altered Item and a Mixed Media item or Card.

So Very Loved

First up I have created a LO using the beautiful Curiosity range which I have layered and fussy cut to create some depth.  The background was stencilled with the pretty Flutter mask, then stamped over with the Honeycomb background stamp and I also used the Windsor stamp down the left hand side of my LO.  Over the top of this I have flicked some glimmer mist in red to tie in with the flowers accents.

Kaisercraft Product Used:
Curiosity 12x12 paper collection pack
Curiosity 6 1/2 inch paper pad
Curiosity Collectables
Stamps - Honeycomb, Windsor, Secret Admirer definitions
Stencil - Flutter
Wooden Flourishes - ornate corners
Sparklets - rouge
Other Product Used: Viva Inka Gold paste, Martha Stewart punch, Glimmer mist, Arichival ink

Remember This Moment
Next up is my Beyond the Page project.  I decided to create a small frame using my nephew's recent wedding pics and the gorgeous Limelight range.  I have used various Kaisercraft wooden flourishes elements which I have altered by coating with Viva Inka Gold, then adding some Kaisercraft pearls and paper blossoms.
You can't have a garden scene without butterflies, so I stamped some with the Kaisercraft butterflies stamp and coloured the stamped image with some pigment powder and a water brush, then topped it with a pearl embellishment.
When you think of weddings, lace immediately comes to mind, so I added some Kaisercraft lace accents to the frame in white to soften the green a little.  I also used the woodgrain edge stamp to tie in with the garden theme.

Kaisercraft Product Used:

OTP - Small Photo Display
Limelight 12x12 paper collection pack
Stamps - edges, butterflies, Secret Bird Society
Wooden Flourishes - frames, iron gate, remember this moment, ornate corners
Paper Blooms - coconut
Mini Paper Blooms - white
Lace Pack - white
Rubons - After 5 collection quotes
Pearls SB713
Other Product Used: Viva Inka Gold paste and Pearl Pen, Luminarte pigment powder, Arichival ink, pearl centres

Moments Card
Lastly I have created a card using the beautiful and vibrant Kaleidoscope range.  I layered and machine stitched various papers for my background and used my silhouette Cameo to create the pretty diecut layer - you could also use dies if you don't have a Cameo - then stamped the flutter stamp lightly in both corners.

The lovely wooden frame went beautifully with all the pretty coodinating collectables, which I layered with foam tape and accented with paper blossoms and pearls.
